Fault Code 17978...P1570

Hi all, new to posting but have reading and learning from all. Had a recent problem with poor running and several fault codes, followed all your help removed and re-soldered the conection in the ECM. All worked well for a while then car would not run. Purchased an ECM from the wreckers, this one now has me locked out with fault code 17978, P1570 I have checked code in the inst. and found 01177....any help from here would be great.

Thanks for the info...I attempted to follow your direction and it asked me to "save value 0..to channel 00. With WSC 00066 Are you sure" I checked yes then a warning "Function requires an activation code, contact your distribuator" Does this mean my shareware version is not going to do it?

Yes, you need a 'real' cable, assuming your ECU is a BD or CP
