The O-ring numbered "13" in this diagram is a tight slip-fit that must be disconnected and reconnected every time you drain coolant. The spring clip "18" slides through slots in the sides of "19" and into a groove in "12". My O-ring was worn and twice it successfully fought being put together tight enough for the spring clip to seat. The hard parts, "12" and "19" are very tight without the O-ring! Now that I'm replacing the coolant (again) and using a new O-ring, I'd like to know what the correct lubricant is to put on this O-ring. What will lubricate it enough, but not harm anything in the cooling system? (Don't look for this diagram in ETKA. I had to combine and edit two diagrams to show this. No wonder the stealership parts dept. can't identify the O-ring.)
