Hi all,
Looking for some advice on the following issue.
Have a 2006 Jetta TDI with 3C0 937 049 D CECM and lately I have been getting
Fault 01505 - Bulb for Blinkers; Rear Right (M8)
012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit
I'm not sure but i almost feel as if part of the circuitry in the CECM module is almost overheating/failing after higher current is running through that channel for a while and then tripping/faulting. after it faults it appears to not work again until the key is cycled and presumably the component has cooled down.
Does this seem realistic/plausible? I don't know what else to check but would like some more tips before i spend the money on a new CECM.
Is there any way to decode what the Fault status or Freeze Frame indications in the Fault mean to further narrow it down?
Thanks!

- This fault comes and goes
- It's not the bulbs - have replaced them with new and swapped sides with no difference in outcome.
- Not an issue with the wiring or connectors in the trunk area
- 15A fuse and holder are not burned
- bulb indication can be reset by turning key off and on.
- Fault seems to occur after current has been running for a while to the bulb (for example if the right turn signal is left on, it will fault after 40-50s)
- Even after fault, tests on the rear right turn signal in VCDS work properly and light will illuminate at high and low states (running + turning power level)
