rotor set screw broken - car safety inspection

You guys think a broken set screw would cause any problems when I go to have my car safetied in a couple days? Tried drilling and extracting and the extractor broke off inside.

No, I didn't have any rotor screws on my old car since there wasn't a slot on the new rotors I put on. I don't even think the tech payed attention to that

No problem, its just annoying when we push the caliper back and have to chase the rotor around when putting the wheel back on.

Yup, that screw is a convenience only for installing the tires and has no function, safety-wise.

The car's lug bolts are what actually do the work of holding the rotor on. :)
