Need: MKV starter or brush basket

Anyone has a starter or just a good brush basket (with usable brushes) available? The starter on the Jetta I bought had the brushes worn down to the springs (3 out of the 4 only has the braided copper wires left). Unfortunately my spare MKIV starter basket is bigger and different enough that it won't work and the brushes are spot welded to the basket so swapping it would be very difficult.

With some creative tinkering, swapped it out from a spare MKIV starter. The brushes are the same dimension but the basket is bigger and so is the stator/rotor). Runs nice on the bench, going into the car tomorrow.
