Had some oil leaking issues so I took it in and after getting the valve cover gasket replaced, the shop said the EGR seals are also leaking. As well as the rear main

My question is are the only seals on the EGR the valve seal and small seal? And if so where on the EGR are they and are they easily replaced?

Shop quoted $107 to replace the EGR seals. I know I can pull the EGR off myself and if its only these 2 seals then I can hopefully save $100.

Hmm, what's leaking from the EGR? Exhaust? Or is there oil coming out somewhere?

Yup, did your mechanic mean the external seals (that connect the EGR unit to the rest of the piping) or the internal ones (seals on the EGR shaft itself)?

Important distinction... you can buy the external ones but IIRC internal ones are not replaceable.

They said o rings. Which looking at a pic of the egr it looks like one is on the body where the valve is. But I don't know where the other one is. ID parts has both the gaskets and orings listed.
