Electronic odometer rollover

I've heard conflicting opinions on the odometer in our A4 cars. I know that the A3 models' digital odometers "roll over" after 300,000 miles. Do ours do the same, or has VW removed this interesting feature? Anyone close to 300,000 miles yet (K5ING)?

You know it's funny you mentioned that. When I drove to Florida from Ontario, my trip meter went to 1999.9 KM before rolling over. What on earth is the point of making a tripmeter have 4 digits if it only goes to 1999.9km?? Just like what on earth is the point of making a 6 digit odometer if it'll only go to 300000miles? It's such a silly way of doing things! I can only hope my A4 show's past the 300000mile mark. Otherwise it doesn't look like the car's gone as far when it's 10 years old and only shows 10000miles.
