Selling my 2001 black 4 door golf tdi with 230k miles. It's a gls model fully loaded with sunroof and monsoon stereo. Asking $7400, located in the San Jose California area.
I'm the second owner, bought the car with 210k miles all highway commuting, completely stock and never in an accident. All mods and upgrade have been done between 218k-230k miles.
Car runs great, has been very well cared for mechanically but does have some cosmetic flaws typical of a 15 year old mk4.

Drivetrain upgrades:
02m 6 speed transmission from RyanP, with new 220hp clutch and flywheel.
Pd150 intake manifold, egr valve, turbo inlet pipe and air box.
Pp764 injectors, 11mm injection pump and malone stage 3 tune (appx 150hp+).
Darkside development front mount intercooler.
Buzzken 2.5" catback exhaust
New mototmounts and upgraded dogbone (transmission) mount
Malone tuner with additional tunes, including a 30psi tune for upgraded turbo.
ARP headstuds
Engine maintenance:
Timing belt service at 215k miles
New water pump, clutch fan,
Fuel filter, all fluids, and most hoses
Vnt15 turbo with 100k miles
Suspension/steering:
H&R coilovers with poly strut bushings and new bearings
R32 control arm bushings and new tie rod ends
Exterior upgrades:
Oem GLI BBS RC wheels powder coated black with near new performance tires
Oem european spec bumpers front/rear
Front oem rare votex bumper valance
Rear 20th anniversary bumper valance
20th anniversary side skirts
E-code headlights with foglights and european foglight switch
European stubby mirrors
Rssr black/red taillights
Black body emblems
Tinted windows
Interior upgrades:
Gti leather heated seats
Gti leather steering wheel
Pioneer double din stereo
Cup holder center console
Boost/egt guage pod
Cosmetic flaws and unfinished upgrades:
Body is very straight with overall good paint, some small dings here and there. Roof clearcoat is faded but not flaking. Bumpers and valances need to be paint matched but they are black so they look good from a distance.
Interior plastic has some wear typical for these cars. Door card cloth is coming loose as are a couple spots in the headliner. Seats have some wear but no tears.
Heated seats have not been wired (switches are in)
Stubby mirrors and side skirts also have not been installed (I will install these if I get a decent price for the car)
