someone show me a picture of where to adjust my injection timing! ive heard 3 bolts,under the timing belt cover, what does it look like??? <font color="brown"> </font>
If you click on the Articles link above then click on the A4 Timing Belt procedure link. You will find those pictures there. That's where I pulled them from.
Notice the nut with some yellow paint on it. Do NOT loosen that! But use it to adjust your timing after you loosen the 3 bolts.
when viewed from the passenger side, turn the center bolt clockwise to advance, counterclockwise to retard.
You NEED Vag-Com to make this adjustment and you also need to replace the bolts once you've loosened them.
I can do this adjustment for you if you come up to my house and swing by the dealer to pick up the new bolts on your way up.
