Hi guys, replacing turbo and found out why I have to top up coolant every 6 weeks. Do you think this is head gasket related or plastic part with temperature sensor? If I pressure test the coolant system, should I see the leak? Head revision is C.

Doubt anyone here in the forums know how BKD looks like...

The good news is that your leak is external.

I'd suggest cleaning the mess and inspecting where it actually leaks from.

Might be both, hard to tell.
I'd try put some pressure into the system but don't go too excessive!

Thanks henrick. Could you recommend a safe pressure to do the testing?

If you have access to pressure tester, that's sweet then. Pump ~1.5 bar there and watch for leaks (once that area has been thoroughly cleaned).
If no access to pressure, then clean the area and take the car for a spin. Once back to the shop, check where it is leaking from

At least on the BRM, there is a coolant flange on the side of the head in that area that can leak. I believe its 03G 121 132
