power steering warning light

Enjoyed the Ashville TDI meeting and thanks again Dan for the help on out
2000 TDI, We now have a problem with our 2006 TDI, the power steering warning light is on. The 06 does not appear to have a
power steering fluid reservoir. The light goes from yellow to red when we go down a steep hill. Steering works without
any problems just the warning light. Any suggestions??

The steep hill would suggest the steering fuild level is low as on the hill the oil will tip to the back of the reservoir and give this reading. There must be a cap somewhere to fill it up and check the dipstick?

Can not locate the reservior or dip stick for power steering fluid on our 2006 Jetti TDI, We also have a 2000 Jetti TDI and
the power steering reservior is not in the same place??

The power steering on the 06 is electro-mechanical, so there is no fluid. The only way to know what's going on is to get the codes from the steering controller.
