Not all familiar with that drivetrain, but is there a way to make certain that the intake flap is completely open (P3103)?

The white/gray smoke sounds like incomplete combustion which could be from a restricted intake due to the intake flap. Which could also cause the turbo charge issue (P0299)

Again I am not familiar with this drivetrain.

Just checking: is this the same car/symptoms/etc as your other thread?

kinda Vince, that thread started as a diverter valve, which I found out is not the case. I also listed it under a Passat topic, but this is a TDI issue.
So do you have a answer or was there another reason for your comment?

This forum works best when the lines of communication don't get crossed... and generally multiple threads on the same issue(s) lead to the wires getting crossed.

That said, sometimes people have multiple cars with multiple issues to puzzle out. Only way to know for sure is to ask.
