After VW approved B5 I started using it. ( I buy B20 and mixed it down to B5 with ULSD) When they approve B20 and higher I plan to increase the useage.

I don't recall any mention of Bio in regards to clogging of the manifold.

I would think that there should not be any problem with the intakes clogging using ULSD and Bio mixes.

So my question is If the engine is left STOCK with NO mods of to EGR or CCV, what has been the results of the intakes regarding clogging?

Can it be said that using ULSD and/or Bio will solve the clogging issue WITHOUT the need of Vac com adjustment ot CCV filter?

IMO, only B80 or better will solve the problem. All else being equal, les petro diesel should produce less soot in the intake.

I'm on B100 right now...we'll see how my intake looks when I pull it at 40k for grins.
