I doubt that. Besides, there would have to be thousands of people doing this to make a difference in the overall percentage of people signing up. I think there are somewhere around five people talking about it on the forums. You could multiply that by 10, 20, or even a hundred and still wouldn't get anywhere near what you'd need to see a difference in the numbers.
