I have a 2004 PD Jetta with 130000km's on it. While accelerating i can feel a slight hesitation while gaining speed, almost feels like a momentary loss of fuel getting into the chambers. I run AGIP 505.01 oil and just changed my fuel filter about 15000km's ago. Had it at the dealer about year ago for egr change and was advised by mechanic that carbon build up was becoming noticeable and that they could clean it out (i have heard horror stories of them doing this!!
). I guess i need some advice on things to check. My CEL is on but this is due to me running a tunning box on the car and it has triggered the sensor that it modifies. I have unplugged the box and this has not changed the situation but the CEL did turn off. Any help or direction would be appreciated.
