Remove & replace blower motor

Have determined that I need to change the fan blower motor (blown a couple of thermal fuses) and have watched the fan at "1" speed stutter and stop.

The question is can the fan blower be changed without removing the glove box-center console like the Bently Manuals show?

Any clever tricks to make this job go easy?

BTW do not substitute a higher rated thermal fuse than what is indicated (192 degC is the right one)...seems things get a little hot around that resistor pack. No fire just a bit of smoke /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Unfortunately you do have to remove the glovebox. That means removing the lower center console. If you have the Bentley it is no problem.
