I looked inside my bellows pipe and saw some odd black flakes. I rubbed my finger inside and got a bunch more.
What the heck??
I took the whole tube off and ran hot water through it in my bathtub. It just kept flushing out with black flakes! Even after flushing it out with hot water for 2-3 mins, I could still swipe a bunch of junk off the ribs with my finger.
Is this a normal thing? Tube should be replaced every 10 years or something?

I would say it is probably related to the crank case ventilation. It feeds in a few inches to the left of where that piece connects. I have seen many of them be pretty dirty
