My Alternator went out and I replaced it with a rebuilt one from Auto zone. The next day I drove the car about 20 miles to an appointment and turned the car off. When I was done with the appointment I turned the car on and I got the code P0673. Is it possible the alternator job could have caused this code? The car seems to be running like normal.

Anyone know of a good thread that talks about all the possible causes for this code?

That is a #3 glow plug electrical fault. Not related.

Just Google OBD2 codes.

Yes. I looked the code up. I just thought that maybe since the alternator has to do with the electrical system it might have caused an issue with a fuse or the 109 relay. I just thought to ask you guys before diagnosing the problem.

This turned out to be faulty glow plug wiring and two bad glow plugs. I had to have the code cleared after I replaced the failed parts.
