I am only the second owner
new heavy duty battery just about a month ago
tires have good tread
alloy wheels
leather
seat heaters(toasty)
great car and very efficient
many more miles to go
These go over 550k easily
this is a tdi club car which means it
has been taken care of properly
awesome car for a new driver
340k miles
new battery
led headlight bulb
starts and runs every time
Bad
It is an automatic which is bad for an old gearhead like me
This is great for those that cannot drive stick
tranny is great.
It is newer since the original one was replaced by vw
under warranty according to the original owner. The replacement has been bulletproof.
Ugly
since I put the LED bulbs the old electrical system cant tell it has bulbs
Just need to put a resistor and idiot light should come off
small chip in windshield this has passed inspection
some rust on the front fenders. I put silver tape on it
had one of the oil return line replaced and my tdi mechanic forget to reset the engine.
So engine light is on Just need an OBD thing to clear it
I only hope I can replace this car with one as good after this crazy stuff is over

March 2014 – replaced rings in fuel injector pump
Replaced EGR valve
Rear brake shoes & rotors replaced
Replaced driver’s Tie rod
Sept 2015 – Replace RS (passenger) outer tie rod
Oct 2015 – Replaced Timing belt & water pump w/new coolant
Fuel filter – 314,000 miles
Oct 2015 – AC Pressure switch
June 2016 – New AC compressor
Dec 2016 Oil change
May 2017 new oil line done by Tom TDI guru along with oil change
August 2017 New heavy duty battery sams with 4 year warranty
October 2017 LED headlights
