Barn find over the holidays: 1995 Polaris XLT with 1200 miles on the odometer. Last ran in 2002, been parked with 1/4 tank of gas since then.
It took a couple of days to completely dismantle the fuel system and clean the gum out (all 3 carbs were really nasty) and empty the mouse nests out of the airbox and exhaust, but once that was done it started right up and runs like new
I like these old sleds, they go like stink, handle well, and are bulletproof when maintained properly. I've put over 30K miles on the '93 I've been riding for the last few years, now I get to ride a "new" one - and it only cost me $400
