Its winter still here in New England and I'm using stanadyne performance formula, I was recomended at the place that i bought it to use Standyne Performance Formula Jr in the summer because its cheaper but just doesnt have the winter specs that the regular formula has. Has any one else ran the Jr formula ?

I never heard of that before.

I definatly recomend running non winter additives in the summer though.

Powerservice silver is good and cheap, and Diecyl (available from tdiparts.com and impex) is a european import that claims to be engineered for USLD fuel.

what I do is take an 8 ounce bottle and put like 6 ounces of Powerservice and 2 ounces of Diecyl.

I use this on my MkIV and MKV.

I've been running the full Performance Formula year-round for 51,000 miles. It's good stuff, and gives a small but noticeable performance improvement. Ol' Ester is a happy girl.
