Worth it to wait for \'02 tdi manual?

Is it worth it to wait for an '02 model or should i just get the '01 if i find it?

no substantial differences unless you want a 4 door GL. Check in the http://forums.tdiclub.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=14&t=000045 thread for all the 2002 changes.

Also keep in mind that the 01 is effectively a year old as soon as you buy it, so has already depreciated a year's worth. This is good if you are purchasing (as opposed to leasing) as you can use it as leverage to get a better deal. Also the dealer is looking to get rid of the 01.. but thats a moot point since most 01 TDIs are long gone.
