Replacement key

I lost the key for my 2006 Jetta. Any idea what the dealer gets for a new key with programming? Or if there is a cheaper source for the key than a dealer? Thanks

Dealer says around $225.00 for key and programming.

That must include the remote. You can save some money buying the remote part elsewhere. I think I paid about $150 for the key & programming for my 2000 Jetta. I don't remember what I paid for the remote, maybe $25 on ebay.
