We test drove a DSG before we ordered a manual, way back in 2013. Wife and I agreed we didn't like how the Beetle DSG shifted compared to the Passat or Jetta. I wonder how much better the maps are on the '15 DSG?

It is unlike my 2013 Passat SEL Premium was. The 2015 Beetle in drive and regular acceleration keeps the rpms between 1100 and 1800 rpm. My 2006 Jetta PD manual I didn't even give it any real acceleration until after 1800 rpms. The Passat DSG around 1400 or 1500. The Beetle seems to like to stay around 1100 or 1200 in town anyways. IIRC. The Beetle has paddle shifters on it so if you want to play around some you can.

Glad you reminded me of the maps. I wanted to ask them to update them as well. I will text him. I forgot I have no maps or nav so I can cancel that.
