Ready to sell my 2001 Jeta, it runs great, looks like crap. Needs body work from hail damage also front bumper and grill need replacing. Paint peeling as well. Passenger seat adjuster broke so I use a small pair of vice grips when I need to adjust it.
What's good with it?
VW in OKC screwed up the engine when I had a new timing belt installed at 68000 miles and I mean they really screwed it up. Ended up with a complete new engine with new injectors. Car currently has <118,00 miles. Has new tire's, and all maintenance has been performed as required.
I primarily use the car to make a 220 mile trip every month to visit my mother in Oklahoma. Purchased a Corvette recently, so the VW is history. Has been extremely reliable for the 12 years I have owned it.
