BEW EGR cooler pipe repair

Trying to replace the lower egr pipe on my BEW and also add the support bracket that was left off. I know the bolts holding the pipe to the cooler are 6mm. I was able to remove one, but my 6mm hex socket hits the manifold for the other. Any suggestions? Will a t-handle work, or a standard Allen wrench.

Try an Allen key with a ball end.
