So after starting my car, the EGR Valve starts making a Popping sound at idle. Taking off the vacuum line going to it, I can feel the vacuum pressure going more-less, more-less like it is surging back and forth. From idle up to 1800 rpm, right after starting the car, still with the egr popping, the rpm's surge back and forth for a while until the car heats up.
I have not found any broken lines or loose hose connections so far. Could this be a solenoid failing? the vacuum pump being finicky as to only work right at temperature? I so far feel no power loss
Also, I don't know if it is related, but for some reason I keep hearing my turbo, while at a constant rpm (mostly below 2000) and level ground, spool up, then down, but no boost. I didn't know if this could be associated with a vacuum problem controling the vane actuators in the turbo.
Any Ideas?
