Plenum connection station?

I am having a slight water leak on heavy rain days on my drivers side. I opened up the plenum space and cleaned it out and will be re-sealing things up to hopefully stop that. I was wondering if this black box is the “plenum connection station”? I can’t definitively identify what it is. Is there a high risk of damage if I remove it to seal underneath? Or is a edge sealant more ideal?

That's the wire loom going into the cockpit.
Remove the nuts on both sides, raise it and Clean the seal. I recommend using petroleum jelly to seal it if it's leaking, if you ever want to get back in you don't want it stuck with a sealant.

Awesome, I appreciate it. I just didn’t want to have to remove the whole wiper assembly if possible.

It's doable without removing the wipers. I resealed the one on my wagon when I first got it. Still dry to this day.

I ended up pulling out the motor so I could clean up really well. The assembly came out super easy really.
