xTool Vag401 tool for SKC and mileage change

Hi,

I have a used Mk5 Immo 4A cluster that I'd like to be able to read the SKC of and reset mileage on. I've read that the Vag401 tool could possibly do this.

Has anyone had success with this on Immo 4a clusters specifically?

Isn't the Odo stored in ecu on this model? I have the Xtool 401, and it doesnt do specialized cluster ops (skc, odo) on a 2006. Didn't work on a 2000 beetle either, iirc.
