Smile Official Ontario CARS FOR SALE thread

There have been quite a few FS threads recently for people selling cars. While there is a specific section of the forum for selling cars, an item as large as a car really should be in a regional FS add.

So I have created this thread for users to post their cars for sale. I ask that you post all the relevant info and pictures in your post here and all correspondance can be conducted through PM's.

Or, simply post in the correct section and link your add in this thread for local viewers to peruse. This thread will be a sticky for better exposure and I will keep an eye on this thread and clean up any unecessary posts and delete any cars that are sold at the request of the seller.

Any further suggestions on how to handle this thread are welcome, but please do so via PM to keep this thread as clean as possible.

Thanks and good luck with your sales.

Thread clean up of OLD, SOLD and irrelevant posts.

If yours was one that I deleted and is still for sale, please feel free to re-post, but anything older than a couple months or has a dead link has been removed.

Thanks.

Have a friend with a mk4 sedan tdi auto with around 400k on it. Pretty sure it's ALH I haven't seen the car much myself though. It needs some work mechanically so probably more like a parts car. I'll be getting more info from him soon.

Default 2013 GTI 6sp with winter tire package and VW warranty..

Not TDI-specific but hopefully that's okay.

Selling my 2013 GTI 5dr 6-speed manual with 96.8K. Certified pre-owned warranty good until 120K/August 2019. Comes with summer (Conti DWS06) and winter (Michelin XI3) tire packages, both with only a single season on them. Winters on lovely VW Goal 17s. The ultimate winter setup for this car IMO .
$17500for everything; $16750 without the winters.

Here is the text from my kijiji ad (Link):

Selling my 2013 GTI Wolfsburg Ed. (6-speed manual, 5dr). It has transferable VW certified pre-owned warranty until August 2019/120 000 km.

I purchased this car at 47K and it has spent the last 2 years taking me to work and back every day on the 407. Easiest miles a car can do - all highway, no stop/go, very little city driving. I expected to keep this car for 10 years and have looked after it accordingly. Unfortunately it's just not the right vehicle for my life at the moment (long highway commute, hauling kids to hockey, etc.) so I have to move on.

Pictures show the car in both it's summer (Continental ExtremeContact DWS06, new April 2017) and winter (Michelin X-Ice XI3, new Nov 2017) tire packages. Summer tires are mounted on the factory 18" VW Laguna wheels, and winters are on lovely VW Goal 17" wheels. This is the ultimate winter setup for the MK6 GTI. Yes, it looks this great all winter long. And you definitely want 17s in the winter, not 18s.
I keep a spreadsheet of all work I have had done to the car which I am happy to share with any serious buyer. I also have the service log from previous owners obtained through the dealership. I have maintained this car meticulously with average oil change interval of 10K (VW specifies 15K) mostly done at Maple VW in Vaughan. New front and rear brakes were installed January 2018 and carbon cleaning was performed at 55K. Undercoating/rustproofing was applied in Nov 2016, and it comes with an electronic rust protection unit installed (I don't think they work, but previous owner had it done at dealership when car was new).

Car comes with front hood deflector, RokBlokz rally mudflaps, and 1.25" hitch receiver, any/all of which I can remove if it's not your thing. Also included are front and rear Weathertech floor liners that I have used in the car since I bought it. Factory mats (also included) are like new. Cargo area protected by VW Car Go cargo mat system. I also have factory splash guards (not installed) that can come with the car.

TL;DR:
This car was driven daily by a mature driver and has been lovingly maintained with no expense spared. It has recent tires, brakes, carbon cleaning, sparkplugs, filters and is ready to motor for a driving enthusiast to enjoy. And on top of all that comes with almost a year and a half of remaining warranty from VW. Speaking from experience, I would take a car maintained like this any day of the week over one with half the mileage but with the original brakes/tires/plugs etc. just about to need replacement.

Located in Brooklin but can arrange to meet in Vaughan during the week.
