Well. It appears that 034, also thought it was strange that my bushings failed. So they are sending me out a free rebuild kit. Once I get them on I'll let you guys know how it is. But 100% happy with 034 standing by their products in these tough times.

While the q5 is down for repairs while I am waiting for replacement parts. I decided to wrap my aluminum trim pieces, in a black brushed aluminum trim. We think it looks amazing. The is 3M 2080 black brushed aluminum.

Default Q5 Maintenance and Upgrades - Daemon64 Q5 TDI Build Thread

Thanks Diesel,

Took a bit of patience, but it wasn't that hard for the side trim. Those just pop out with some trim tools. Now left me tell you, the center console piece was a PIA to get out, you have to take the whole console apart, and out, then remove a bunch of torx screws from the piece, and wrapping it because its all curved is no cake walk either. But I got it done.

Now waiting for the bushing to come in. I'm doing them this time instead of my mechanic. I trust them, but I want to confirm everything is 100% to 034's specification, and will grease them on their 3k mile recommendation as well. Then we'll see how they hold up.

After I do the bushings, its time to get a few dragy runs in to benchmark the Q.

After that DTUK TCU Tune. Some driving and re-draggy.

Ok bushings done. Super easy job... about an hour to do. I did some dragy pulls after 0-30 - 1.83s, 0-60 5.5s. Malone stage 2 100% emissions compliant. Now to do the DTUK tranny tune, drive it for a bit and re-test.

Very cool info! What tires are you running? Itd be great to see if the car is any different after the TCM tune!

Stock 19s, 235/55/19 Michelin premier Ltd. They are at almost legal wear limit and I have no idea how they seem to grab at launch. I do plan o replacing them and when I do will go to 255 and lose 8.5lbs per corner.
