Intercooler Recall

I called my dealer today about intercooler recall. Gave them TSB number with vin#and they say that my car is not included. My car is 2010 and has19000 miles on it. TSB shows clearly that recall is for ALL 2010-2011 TDi's. What should i do ? Thanx

Is it a recall? I thought it was just a TSB. Either way, don't trust your dealer to actually know the product they sell, that would be asking too much.

Not a recall...a TSB, meaning the dealer/VWoA calls the shots re: the necessity to do the repair.
I believe this is industry standard.

If this is the TSB # 21 11 06 / 2025464 you are refering to, like tdiatlast says it is not a recall.

Generally, you have to "have the issue" for a TSB to apply under warranty. You may be able to find a dealer to do it without having the specific issue under warranty especially if the dealer has done work for you in the past (sometimes it pays to have a good rapport with your SA).
