Possible transmission problem question
Just curious if anyone has an opinion on this...
Last night was driving home and my car started vibrating and sounded like I was running over rumble strips... The motor sounded like it was accelerating loudly and the car seemed to shift itself into neutral while driving down the road. We stopped and put it in park and it did not shift just continued the noise... After shutting it down and restarting it the problem went away.
It's a 2010 Jetta TDi
I am going to try and get it into the VW service department on Monday but was hoping to get an idea of the issue before that
