Replacing Driver’s Sun Visor

I need to replace the visor in my ‘03 Jetta. I unscrewed the black Phillips head (uh, torx) screw on the left plastic piece with the wiring. But I can’t get the plastic bracket off. I don’t want to break it. How is it done?

Actually, it doesn’t matter if I break the old plastic piece I’m trying to remove.
