R32 TDI conversion for sale

I do know that VW will show different part numbers for the same part. I have found this out from my local VW part dealer. According to the self study guide the transporter is 2.5 vs the golf is 1.6 ratio. The transporter also has a beefier transfer box and locking rear diff. I agree that if you have the same transfer box and rear diff matching from same car then you will be ok. There are also different pressures in the haldex control unit between the golf and transporter. These differences could account for the different part numbers.

A mk4 red r32 without clear coat issues. Nice find. I have a spare motor from a salvaged one spun rod bearing.

No clear coat problem, this car has a very good body, other than the damage done to front bumper by the shipper. I will consider trades plus cash. I have also considered fixing the engine in it first then doing the swap.

I got the engine free now, no holes in the block. I think it ingested a little water and shut off the engine. I'm going to try and get this engine running before I do the conversion. A used running 3.2 is worth a lot more than a non running engine. I bought a set of good rods and pistons just in case I need them. This made my day

Would trade my R for a TDi one

I dunno how anyone can drive a 300+WTQ car with FWD. Love my B4 but first 2 gears are useless, and sometimes even 3rd spins.

When you say water ingestation, do you mean it drove into a big puddle and hydrolocked the engine? or do yiou meean it was in a flood and got water damage..??...HUGE Difference. If it was a flood car its will have lots of issues later from water inside areas where its not supposed to be, but if its was a hydrolocked vr6 thats easy.... is the title a salvage title?...as for not being able to swap a older engine into the car it depends on the state you register it in, In NY light duty diesels gvw under 8500 are emissions exempt. ie no testing and its easy to convert gassers to diesel and do swaps. I have done several, and have no issues with the DMV, or registering the vehicles etc.

The build is going to happen, will have the (MK4) FEL O2M 4 motion trans by next Monday, found it on ebay.de. Not a lot of these out there, seems to be more (MK5) O2Q 4motion trans available. My next decision is which engine to use. I'm leaning toward the BKD. This car is still for sale so anyone wanting this car now or after the conversion let me know. If you want to buy it now I can build it to your spec.

Few questions:

1. What ECU are you planning to use with BKD engine from Mk4 or Mk5?
2. Is BKD engine attachments same as Mk4 ?

Not yet. Still a work in progress. I have all the parts now including a new bkd complete engine. Like I said before if I have a buyer it will progress faster.
