Well finally took car in for emission recall with the check engine light on. It came on shortly after we received the notice for the recall. My ScanGauge II said B2AAA, from internet research means my ScanGauge is too old to read the code, so I thought code was for that. Car was also due for inspection. Mechanic called and said $179 to read and clear the code. I figured it was from the recall issue so I told him I would clear the code after we pick the car up and get it inspected somewhere else. We evidently he read the code anyway and discovered the exhaust flap frozen (open i assume because we have been getting great fuel mileage). So exhaust flap replaced under warranty, code read and cleared under warranty and I got the emission and the fuel filler hole reduction recall work done No cost.
