'09 JSW (GoneBack) - replaced with '15 Azera and '16 Fiat 500e.
I don't think the emission controls have EVER worked on Fiat 500e.

Exactly. What CARB would have us believe is they somehow didn't know that about any of the GDI vehicles on the road when they were doing LEV III. GDI is putting out that much particulate and they don't put limits into LEV III to stop that (and I'd say, stop that even before, as that is not spirit at all of particle emissions standards). The simple fact is that GDI like that should never be allowed on the road if Clean Diesel needs to match port fuel injection emission. If they need to penalize CD because of 'clean air!' then they need to penalize GDI and Hybrid because of 'clean air!' That they don't shows just how biased they are. It ain't about 'clean air!', it's about their agenda.
