Removed and replaced everything fog light related. The 3 position switch was difficult to find.
Only hang up was the side marker sockets were different than what I had. After technically losing the sockets, I located spares. Soldered and shrink tubed them.
I investigated why the p/s corner marker felt so tight going in. I felt like the tab was going to break, and once in, it didn't feel secure. Taped off some areas, made witness marks and took some measurements. Turns out the p/s opening was short by about .125".
Opened it up, filed it smooth and sprayed some paint. The corner light now snaps in, as it should.
This is the 2nd light I lost because if this. I cut a length of Romex and inserted it through the retaining tab U, on both sides. It acts like a lock, so it can't fall out again. Fool me 3 times, shame on you...
