Does anyone know of a good deal on good 5W40 in 4 liter/1 gallon jugs?

It's for my 2001 Golf and 2003 Jetta.

O'Reilley's runs one every once in a while for Rotella T6 for about $20/gal after a MIR

The Meijer near me usually sells either RotellaT6 or Mobil1 TDT 5W40 for $21/gal without the mail-in rebate.

Mobil had their $12-15/gal rebate (limit 6 per person) that just ended. Local fleet type store has Delvac 1 5w-40 for $24/gal so with the $12 rebate it's half price. Works out to $3/at for a superb oil.

Penzoil euro syn 0w40 at walmart is always $21 for a big 'un - 5 quarts or 5.5? In case you can't find a sale somewhere. And their Mobil 1 is only a couple bucks more.

Would be nice to know the NOACK value of the Pennzoil Platinum Euro PurePlus Technology 0W-40 vs the Mobil 1 Delvac.
