Picked up a Beetle for my wife yesterday, so i need to thin-out the herd...
2001 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDI
155,000 miles
black exterior
tan leather interior
5-spd manual transmission
power locks
power windows
cruise control
moon roof
heated heats
Monsoon sound system with CD changer
radio controls in steering wheel
replaced timing belt, water pump, all rollers and tensioner at 142k miles
with the 100,000 mile parts
cleaned the intake stream at 106k miles
replaced the air sensor at about 110k miles
replaced the rear shocks this spring
replaced the battery last winter
$8000 OBO
I bought this car in April 2003 with 106k miles on it. It was in Little Rock, AR, via Ebay. I found some documentation in the glove box and tracked-down the original owner. It was a couple in OK. They drove it on the highway most of the time. The lady got a Suburban and they didn't drive the Jetta any more.
They had financed the Jetta, but the value was more than the payoff, so they just gave the car back to the finance company. The car went to auction, and it ended up in Little Rock.

Current issues are:
- driver's door switch isn't working, so lights won't come one when you open the door
- windshield has a crack in lower, right corner
- height adjuster on drivers seat is acting-up
