I am the second owner of this tan 2004 MK4 Jetta Wagon. I've had the car for the past 10 years and loved it. You know what to expect with a MK4 at this point. It has been well maintained and has lots of life left, but needs some work. Specifically, it is currently at Charleston Wagen Worx waiting on a new starter. I suspect the turbo will need to be replaced in the near future as well. Otherwise it is in great structural, mechanical, and cosmetic shape.
Specs:
- $2000
- Clean title
- 170k miles
- 5 speed manual
- No rust
- Timing belt, water pump, and fuel pump all replaced within the last 10k miles
- Great cosmetic shape, with only a few dings and scratches
- Interior electronics all working, but driver side window button is loose
- I've used fabric tacks to keep the headliner from sagging in the back
- It includes an aftermarket head unit with bluetooth/Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (I still have the stock unit as well)
