Interesting what you guys have learned about the internals of our window switches.
That said, you can get brand-new master switch modules for our MKIVs from switchdoctor.net for $10: https://www.switchdoctor.net/volksw...-master-power-window-switch-1999-2006-4-door/
I put one of these into my '02 a while back. Looks/functions identical to and feels virtually indistinguishable from the original (the detents between manual and auto on the switches for the front windows are slightly less pronounced).
