Hi
I was going to change my fuel filter and none of my triple square, torx, torx ip or hex metric or sae fit. Any one know what it could be? it has 6 points of a torx the T15 is to small T20 too big, the 15ip fits better but still too loose, striped the head on the first nut I tried.

I changed my fuel filter without having any problems using the TORX bits I had on hand!
What nut are you talking about?

Here is a picture of it, like I saidd the T15 bit is too small the T15ip fits better but still too small and the T20 is too large.

The T20 is a perfect fit!
If you can't move them, try a vise grip on the bolt head.

Not sure what the OP's Torx bits are, but I have found some of the offshore cheapies to be incorrectly sized, and found better ones to fit just fine . . . If you have access to more than one T20, you might try another one to be certain . . .
