The good:
-B5.5 with PD TDI
-BORA PARTS Balance shaft delete kit installed
-18 inch motegi wheels (stock outer diameter times, don't rub and speedometer is accurate, GPS verified)
-suspensions is tight, never been lowered, tracks straight
-Led headlight bulbs (low and high beam)
-Comes with used serviceable steering wheel, driver window mechanism, still has under car engine splash shields
-aftermarket replacement new turbo cartridge included, not istalled
-added oem rear seat package tray sun shield
The bad:
-Transmission is shot, it was fine until a few months ago when I parked it, it refused to shift into 5th, it also lost reverse. I limped it home, figuring I had lost a solenoid or something. I pulled the pan. Fluid was clean for 200000 miles. No metal in the pan, changed the fluid (pentosin 1058206), tested and cleaned the solenoids (all triggered, and had acceptable continuity). Put it back together, same problems, but now you can hear a more pronounced chatter when reverse is selected. I think a clutch must have come apart, but not totally disintegrated. (Hence clean fluid) now that it has sat for a while, it slips in all gears, and the indicator shows all gears selected (limp mode)
-oil leaks from intercooler pipe junctions
-i have used the same oil as in my truck (valvoline premium blue extreme) having read some more, I realize this was probably not the best stuff for a TDI.
-DS rear door lock sticks on outside (needs to be locked and unlocked a few times to open).
-1/4" chip in windshield
The ugly:
-Dark colored florida car: clear coat peeled
-Interior is a little dirty
-headliner is falling down
-door panel vynil becoming unglued
-steering wheel has worn spot, foam is showing (used replacement included)
-tint has aged badly
