So I have a 2012 Audi A3 TDI. It has a difficult time starting when the engine is warm, as if you drove it for a while, stopped and went shopping for 15 min, came back, and tried to start it again. It takes anywhere from 3 to 10 tries to start it. I have no CEL. A friend with VCDS ran a scan and said it is the engine speed sensor. The scan message is posted below. So where is the engine speed sensor located? As an intermittent signal I understand it may only need cleaning, which I was going to try first. But if I wanted to buy one Google only wants to sell me a crankshaft or camshaft position sensor. So 2 questions:

Where is this part located on the motor?
Where can I buy one if I need to?

Thank you.
