so i was replacing the glow plugs on my 98 jetta and one snapped off right at the head. Is there a way to get it out without taking off the head? Help

the additional step is drilling out the old GP, personally I would take it to a skilled mechanic

drilling out the gp on my car took these steps
- raise the cylinder in question to TDC
- lock the engine to prevent it from turning over
- remove injectors etc as shown above
- gently connect compressed air to the injector hole
- get another guy to hold a shop vac over the gp
- start the air and start drilling, hopefully the drill chips blow out the head and dont stay in the cylider
- repair cylinder head as above
