Base Oil Effect On Bio?

On my daily bike ride I pass this spot where some castor bean plants grow like weeds. They are unirrigated, right on the edge of the road at the top of a slope so water doesn't head their way except maybe from the other side of the road which isn't exactly watered well.

They get hacked down and come back.

Not a lot of beans on them but if they were treated better...

I suppose the yield per acre of cultivated castor oil as compared to rapeseed or peanut or other oils is readily available. Harvest probably costs more since I think the beans are picked rather than cutting down the plant and separating the seeds.

Anyway it got me thinking about what effect the lubricity of the base oil has on the fuel. I know castor oil is a good lube.
