Bosch Duraterm vs standard glow plugs

I am in the process of replacing my glow plugs. Is there a difference in Bosch Duraterms and regular Bosch glow plugs. Is there an advantage? Are there better plugs out there? Is more expensive better? Thanks

i'd like to hear the answer to this question - i didn't know that Bosch had a high end glow plug. What's the price difference?

bosch 80028 duraterm. Run around 20 on the internets. Amazon 19.95 a peace with 5 something in shipping.

You can get a set of Beru plugs for about $60 at a couple of the independent parts dealers.

The Duraterm are afterglow type, so they would work, but why spend the extra $20 on a set? There's no advantage in using them over the "regular" factory glow plugs.
