Rns510 replacement

Has anyone replaced their rcd510 for an rns510 with the navgation?

I was going ask the same question. I looked on ebay and you can purchase rns 510 for $1600. To be honest I don't think it is worth it.

So i see you are from new Britain I live down the street in Newington.

Good to see someone local on this forum.

Yes. There's a how-to in the Upgrades (non TDI engine related) forum on how to do this. It's not difficult. The most painful part is shelling out for the Nav unit :p

I think it's well worth it, especially if you use all the potential of the RNS-510 that it offers. For example custom POI integration that I have done for all USA/Canada for Red Light Cams, Speed Cams, Speed Traps etc..
