Hi:
Pulled Jetta from driveway to front of house sunday afternoon. Fifteen minutes later it would only crank real fast but would not turn over.
Today, I checked the fuel sender. Sure enough it was the "D" bad unit.
Drilled out check valve. Replace my "CAT" fuel filter.
Filled filter with standadyne, cranked for about 30 seconds.
Started RIGHT up.
The test will be leaving it out tonight when the temperature hit the teens.
